Dr. Christabel L. Monteiro Appointed to AIHA Technical Advisory Panel
Dr. Christabel L. Monteiro of ESC Lab Sciences in Mt. Juliet, TN has been appointed to a second consecutive three year term on The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Technical Advisory Panel (TAP). The TAP advises AIHA's Analytical Accreditation Board (AAB) that oversees the governance and processes related to AIHA's Laboratory Accreditation Program. The TAP reviews accreditation applications for AIHA's -IHLAP, ELLAP, EMLAP and FoodLAP programs. TAP members also perform a review of the accreditation process steps to ensure conformance to the process and technical requirements of the AIHA-LAP.

The result of this acquisition is the expansion of technologies, expertise and capabilities of the nation's most certified and accredited laboratory to include radiochemistry testing.
ESC CEO Peter Schulert stated, “Outreach founder, Lab Director and RSO Ron Eidson joins ESC to head up our Radiochemistry Department and brings over 25 years’ experience and a national reputation for quality data.” Mr. Eidson has conducted years of research and consultation in Naturally Occurring Radiological Material (NORM) and Technically Enhanced NORM (TENORM) and is considered an expert in the field.
